Around 200 people rallied outside the San Francisco City Hall on Friday, against the upcoming Patriot Prayer rally at Crissy Field. The protesters held numerous placards denouncing hate and calling for love, and listened to speakers take their turns to address them. Among them were San Francisco Rabbi Jessica Zimmerman and Mayor Ed Lee. «We will resist the wall, we will resist the registry, we will support our Muslim brothers and sisters, because they are really under attack, and we will always be the city of love and compassion,» said Lee. On Friday, however, the leader of 'Patriot Prayer' Joey Gibson announced over Facebook that he was cancelling the rally at the park, citing safety concerns. Instead, the group plan to hold a press conference at Alamo Square Park at 14:00 local time (22:00 GMT), on Saturday.
