Residents jogging, sunbathing and musicians playing were spotted with police officers controlling compliance with social distancing rules. According to reports, beaches run by the New York State Parks Department as well as some run by the New York City were set to open on May 22 at 50 percent capacity with no swimming allowed, provided social distancing rules are observed.
