Hundreds of protesters gathered in the streets of Tripoli, on Sunday, for an anti-corruption protest and to demand better living amidst COVID-19 pandemic. Protesters could be seen waving flags and placards while chanting «God is great.» Some of the protesters had banners reading ''The constitution is a lifebuoy» and '' Yes to elections». Libya has been torn by conflict since the ousting of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in 2011. More recently the country has been split into areas controlled by the GNA in Tripoli and the northwest, and territories held by the eastern-based LNA in Benghazi, led by Haftar. The two sides announced a ceasefire in August.
