The Perugia airport reportedly denied rumours of a secret trip allegedly made by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Italy. Several Perugia airport staff members denied having seen the British Prime Minister on Tuesday. Italian reports have previously stated that Boris Johnson had landed in the Perugia on September 12th before leaving on the 14th, an alleged secret trip vehemently denied by the Prime minister office. The airport cited an error in communication stating that Boris Johnson did not land in Perugia, according to reports. The affair created controversy in the UK as Boris Johnson is battling a resurgence of COVID-19 cases and dealing with Brexit negotiations.
