Iranian Government Spokesperson Ali Rabiei on Monday dismissed speculations the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani was likely to discuss possible negotiations with the Washington administration in his upcoming Japan trip. Rabiei was making the remarks at his weekly briefing in Tehran. «The President's trip to Tokyo is not related to any issues such as [the push for] negotiations with the US. However, our Japanese friends usually have initiatives and messages, which we welcome and we will seriously assess,» said Rabiei who added the trip was more important for bilateral economic cooperation. The spokesperson also dismissed claims Tehran was behind recent rocket attacks on US bases in Iraq saying, «The US has not presented any evidence to prove its unfounded theory or even a witness. If the intelligence services of the US had anything, they would announce it immediately.» **RESTRICTIONS: NO Access Israel Media/Persian Language TV Stations Outside Iran/Strictly No Access BBC Persian/VOA Persian/Manoto-1 TV/Iran International**
