Turkish President Recep Tayyip met with his Greek counterpart President Prokopis Pavlopoulos in Athens on Thursday, the first time a Turkish PM has made the trip in 65 years. During the meeting, Erdogan called for a revision of the Treaty of Lausanne, a treaty made after the Turkish-Greek war in 1919-1922, a proposal that was dismissed by Pavlopoulos. Erdogan visit to Athens comes as part of a two-day diplomatic trip, set to be concluded on Friday with a visit to Thrace.
