Ukrainian President Volodimyr Zelensky said 'Munich plan,' a document which offered 12 steps to achieve peace in eastern Ukraine, didn't correspond to the official position of Kiev, during an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour at the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) on Saturday. «They came up with a new plan in Munich, a new plan to settle the war in Ukraine. The war is on our territory after all. But what about us? Maybe you can consult us? We have the war on our territory,» he said. «First and foremost, our priority is our independence, our integrity and our vision of how to settle or address the situation.» The settlement plan called «Twelve Steps Toward Greater Security in Ukraine» has been drafted by former UK Secretary of State for Defence Desmond Browne, former Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov and current MSC Chairman Wolfgang Ischinger. The document was however removed from the official website of the conference. The Munich Security Conference takes place between 14 and 16 February. Major issues on the agenda concern security issues in the Middle East, North Africa, the Arctic and the Balkan region, energy security, cyber security, arms control, health and trade.
